We arrived at the Ziggurat early yesterday morning before the heat of the day for a tour of the ruins and tombs. Satellite problems last night kept me from uploading some of these photos yesterday. The Ziggurat of Ur is partially reconstructed, some of the original bricks remain after 4,500 years. It is a Sumerian temple devoted to the Moon God.
