This police station we inspected today on the way to a water pipeline job is getting a major overhaul, primarily fortifications. The courtyard in front will also have a 20X30 meter covered carport for the police cruisers. I assessed this station with the Italians in January, sat in on the bid selection, had the prework conference in February, and hope to see this station completed next month.

You guys are doing a good job, even if it's a hard one. Every soldier over there is worth his salt. I know there's some stateside politics, but when you're in uniform - man get out of my way - you've got a job you've been ordered to do and by the sweat of your brow, it'll get done. And yes, someone else could change the orders tomorrow, that's just how it goes when you're serving.
